**Defoamer for Paper Pulp**: A Comprehensive Guide to Selection & Use
Foam is a persistent and costly challenge throughout pulp and paper manufacturing. Generated during critical stages like pulping, pulp washing, screening, and within the black liquor, uncontrolled foam significantly hinders pulp processing foam control efforts, impacting production rates, chemical recovery, operational stability, and final paperpulp quality. Effectively managing this requires specialized antifoams for pulp process.

The role of a high-performance pulp defoamer is therefore critical. Implementing the right foam control for pulp strategy prevents costly issues such as slurry overflow, reduced pump efficiency, paper machine deposits, and poor water filtration. This ultimately protects product quality and improves the overall efficiency of pulp mills.
INVINO leverages advanced chemistry, including innovative silicone technology, to deliver superior foam control solutions specifically designed for the demanding conditions of the pulp and paper industry. Our defoamer for paper pulp products, such as those in our INVINO-6820 series are engineered for excellent foam suppression, even in challenging black liquor applications, without causing detrimental deposits. They aim to enhance drainage and water filtration, helping pulp mill operators improve efficiency and potentially reduce total operating costs. This article will explore the key challenges of foam in pulp processing and guide you on selecting the optimal antifoaming agent for paper pulp, supported by practical insights

Test Method
Take 400mL of black liquor and add it to the circulating test device and heat it to 80-85℃. Turn on the circulating pump, add defoamer when the foam height rises to 1000ml, record the corresponding foam height at each corresponding time, and stop the experiment when the foam height rises to 1000ml again

Testing results of black liquor precipitates
Take 80g of black liquor and heat it to 80℃, add 220g of defoamer, stir at constant temperature for 10 minutes, filter, dry and weigh with filter cloth, and calculate the corresponding results.
