Q: Will the antifoam affect the transparency of my clear liquid detergent?
This is the most critical concern. For clear liquids, we offer specialized High-Compatibility Silicone or non-silicone defoamers. They disperse completely into the surfactant system without causing cloudiness, turbidity, or oil floating.
Q: Will the defoamer separate or float to the top after long-term storage?
No. Our liquid detergent antifoams are designed with excellent shear stability. They remain stable within the formula even after months of shelf storage, ensuring your product looks consistent when it reaches the consumer.
Q: What solutions do you offer for Laundry Powder?
For washing powders, we supply Antifoam Granules / Particles (encapsulated silicone on zeolite/soda ash carrier). They are dry-mixed directly with your powder. They are designed to release antifoaming actives only when dissolved in water during the wash cycle.
Q: Does the antifoam reduce the cleaning power of the detergent?
Not at all. The antifoam is chemically inert regarding the cleaning function. It only targets the foam structure (lamella) to break bubbles, leaving the active surfactants free to perform their cleaning duty.
Q: At which stage should I add the antifoam during production?
For liquids: It is best added during the mixing stage before filling to prevent bottle overflow.
For powders: It is added during the post-blending stage (dry mix) to ensure even distribution without clumping.
Q: Does it kill all foam? Consumers still like some foam for visual effect.
